Évita Muzic, Daniela Hezinova, Irati Aranguren, Viktória Chladoňová, Ricarda Bauernfeind, Mikayla Harvey, Erica Magnaldi, Heidi Franz and India Grangier give chase, but only manage to bridge across after dozens of kilometres of pursuit. By then, the race is at its halfway point.

Before entering the circuit, the peloton draws level again.

At the first passage over the Mur de Huy, Axelle Dubau-Prévot is riding solo at the front, while Katrine Aalerud later joins her.
